The elastic closure can be removed form the wallet and washed in the washing machine. They strongly advice to wash the elastic band twice a year at 40 degrees to keep it clean, but above all to prolong the lifespan.
Washing instructions: not higher than 40 degrees, lukewarm tumble drying or ironing possible, do not bleach and no chemical cleaning.
